Kitchen Sink Cookies





Yield: 28 Cookies


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter cubed

  • 1 ½ cups light brown sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 large egg yolk

  • 1 T vanilla extract

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1t baking soda

  • ½ t salt

  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 2 1/2 oz of Butter Scotch chips

  • 1/4 chopped pecans

  • ¾ cup crushed pretzels

  • sea salt


Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.

  2. Place the butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan and set over medium heat. Melt butter and cook for about 5 minutes. Let sit for 5-8 minutes to cool.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  4. Stir the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla into the butter mixture.

  5. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir to fully combine.

  6. Pour in the chopped chocolate, chopped caramels, chopped pecans, and crushed pretzels ad stir.

  7. Use an extra small scoop of dough and form it into a ball. Sprinkle with sea salt and bake for 7-9 minutes or until edges are browned and centers are a soft firm consistency. Let them cool.

  8. Enjoy!
